King Foundation Awards $25,000 Grant
Haystack Mountain School of Crafts was founded in 1950 with the mission of
teaching fine craftsmanship and developing latent talent or inherent
creative ability. Discovery - 50 Years of Craft at Haystack" will
serve to record the significant impact Haystack has had on the development
of artists and their work in the past 50 years. Approximately 50 Haystack
artsits will be represented, and the book will be edited by distinguished
author and art critic, Carl Little.
Since it's inception, Haystack has acknowledged contemporty visual art by
profiving artists with a place in which to investigate their craft in an
